The Chalet Burgblick was designed in 1965 in the wake of the emerging interest in alpine winter sports for an industrialist family. In 2015/16, the revitalization began with the aim to create a refuge, which is intended by personal ambience to convey to the guest both the feeling of comfort and cosiness, as well as the interest in physical training.
Location
The village Wagrain is nestled between the valleys Flachau and St. Johann / Pongau and offers due to its location a soothing snow in winter.
The chalet itself is centrally located on the slightly higher Kirchboden. The excellent location includes its own car parking, a direct connection to public transport (Postbusanbindung) and a grocery store next door.
In winter, the valley stations Grafenbergbahn and Flying Mozart can be easily reached in minutes with a free ski bus stopping in front of the house. The center of Wagrain can be reached on foot via the old Kirchbodenstrasse in a few minutes.

When can I check in?
The Chalet is open for Check-In from 4pm to 7pm Please contact us, for other Check-In times.
Can I bring a pet?
Pets are allowed on request, if certain conditions are met. We are happy to prepare blankets and feeding bowls for your pet. Also a little surprise may be there.
Is the chalet child-friendly?
We endeavor to provide everything needed for children of all ages. Starting with the baby accessories (eg bottle warmer), a toddler bed, high chairs up to a filled toy box, everything can be made available after personal contact.
Is there a transfer to the nearest airport?
In Wagrain there are several taxi companies that can bring you to the airport or pick you up. From the train station in the neighboring town of St. Johann, ÖBB trains regularly travel to Salzburg to get to the airport from there. For further information or arrangements we are pleased to help you.
